The 2025 Bataleon Disaster snowboard is the only board that will live up to its name if you don't actually buy it. Otherwise, it's a park rat and rail riders dream board (aka the Rixon pro model). The buttery soft, low camber profile makes it ridiculously easy to press this board to its limit, while still holding its own when you're throwing it onto rails, over jumps or powering down a groomer. The Disasters Twin 3BT shape keeps edge catching to a minimum so you can lock and load over every park feature with ease. No rail or box is scary when you've got the Disaster under you, it will forever have your back.
Features:
- Rider Level: Beginner - Advanced
- Board Type: Park
- Flex: 2/10
A soft flex for a playful, forgiving board that flexes and presses with ease.
- Float: 52/100
- Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.
- Outline Shape: Twin
Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum centre base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility.
- Camber Profile: Low Camber
All 3BT boards have a positive camber profile but vary in the degree of camber and uplift across the width of the board. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. - 3D Shape: 3BT + Sidekick
3BT - At the heart of every Bataleon is 3BT (Triple Base Technology). It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimises the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance.
- Sidekick - Sidekick dramatically increases the amount of uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, enhances float, and improves handling in rough terrain.
- Sidebase Uplift: Low Nose, Low Tail
The gradual side base uplift determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology, making Bataleon boards more versatile than others.
- Core: Core Core
The Core Core is a full Poplar wood core with Beech hardwood laid tip to tail, reinforcing the inserts and increasing pop.
- Bi-Ax Laminate - A time-tested two way weave that keeps the board light, strong, and snappy, without increasing torsional stiffness.
- Flex Walls
Base: Hyper Glide S
The Hyper Glide S base is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
- Mounting Pattern: 2x4 Inserts
